Across his academic and creative writing, he engages with questions of human behaviour, moral responsibility, social relationships, philosophical inquiry, and the place of values in contemporary life.

Engagement with the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita

The philosophical, psychological, and ethical dimensions of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita hold a special place in Chhabinath Samadarshi's intellectual work. He approaches the Gita as a source of reflection on human dilemmas, mental conflict, duty, decision-making, and the search for meaningful action.

His book Sankat ka Manovigyan aur Shrimad Bhagavad Gita explores the relationship between psychological crises and the teachings of the Gita. He has also written a commentary (Tika) on the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, seeking to communicate its enduring wisdom in relation to contemporary human life.

For him, the study of the Gita offers an opportunity to reflect on ethical conduct, self-understanding, responsibility, and the relationship between personal development and the welfare of others. This intellectual engagement also informs his wider interest in connecting Indian philosophical traditions with social awareness and human well-being.

Founding Dharmadhyakshya Foundation

In 2023, Chhabinath Samadarshi established Dharmadhyakshya Foundation with a vision of promoting Sanatan culture, human values, spiritual awareness, and the teachings of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita. The Foundation draws inspiration from Lord Shri Krishna as Dharmadhyaksha—the presiding authority and protector of Dharma—and seeks to connect spiritual understanding with constructive social engagement.

The Foundation's areas of focus include spiritual development, education and learning, health and community welfare, livelihood generation, self-reliance, and human welfare. Its vision encourages people to engage with cultural and philosophical traditions while contributing to the well-being of their communities.

The Foundation launched its membership campaign on 1 January 2024 to invite wider public participation in its spiritual, educational, and social initiatives. It also plans to commence the Gita Gyan Arpan Yatra on 20 December 2026. The proposed yatra aims to share the message of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita with people from different backgrounds and communities, carrying its teachings into everyday life.

The Vision of Golok Dham Mandir

A major initiative associated with the Foundation is the proposed Golok Dham Mandir, envisioned as a centre for devotion to Lord Shri Krishna, spiritual learning, and the preservation of Sanatan cultural heritage.

The project proposes a temple complex featuring 108 temples or sacred installations associated with the life, divine pastimes, and teachings of Lord Shri Krishna. Through its planned architecture and devotional spaces, the project seeks to create opportunities for visitors to engage with Krishna's life and the philosophical teachings associated with it.

Golok Dham Mandir represents an important part of the Foundation's long-term vision: to create a place where devotion, cultural learning, and spiritual reflection can come together. The project also invites people to participate in its development through support and contributions, subject to the Foundation's stated objectives and applicable requirements.

A Vision Rooted in Knowledge, Dharma, and Human Welfare

Chhabinath Samadarshi's work reflects an effort to bring together scholarship, literature, spirituality, and social responsibility. Through his books, poetry, writings on the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, and initiatives through Dharmadhyakshya Foundation, he seeks to encourage reflection on ethical living, personal responsibility, cultural understanding, and the welfare of humanity.

His broader vision is to make knowledge meaningful in everyday life and to encourage a relationship between spiritual values and service to society. Through the Foundation's proposed programmes and the Golok Dham Mandir project, this vision continues to take shape through an emphasis on devotion, learning, community participation, and human well-being.
